NOAA's Pacific Research Fleet Moves to Newport

Business Oregon helped Newport land NOAA's Pacific Research Fleet, creating 175 full-time jobs, from start to finish. A $25,000 grant helped fund the port's application and a $1 million state grant helped complete much needed transportation improvements at the site.
