Northwest UAV works with ONAMI to develop new fuel injector
Northwest UAV worked with the Oregon Nanoscience and Microtechnologies Institute to design a more efficient fuel injector.
The city of Newberg has designed and is constructing a wastewater reuse system at the city's existing wastewater treatment plant, including an effluent reuse facility and installation of effluent reuse pipe to various locations throughout the city. This project will reduce demand for treated drinking water for irrigation, thereby extending the life of the water system. Business Oregon awarded the city a loan of $8,817,000 in June 2007 from the Special Public Works Fund. By creating a wastewater reuse system for summer irrigation, the usage of potable water during peak summer demand will drop, and the wastewater discharges to the Willamette River will be greatly reduced.
Oregon strives to create a complementary relationship between a clean environment and a robust economy, taking innovative and long-term views when investing in economic development.
